Dr. K. Ganesh

Dr. Kondabattula Ganesh, born on 24th June 1960 at Nirmal in Andhra Pradesh, India, secured his BVSc & AH degree from A.P Agricultural University, Hyderabad in 1984, MVSc in Veterinary Immunology from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar in 1987 and PhD in Veterinary Microbiology from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore in 1999.

He started his career as Veterinary Officer against Asst Professor at the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, GAU. Anand, 1985 and then pursued his education and research as Junior Research Fellow in Veterinary Immunology (1985 -1987) and as Technical Officer, Monoclonal Antibodies at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar (1987 -1988). After a brief service as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon at the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Hyderabad, he joined, as Instructor in Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary College, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, (1988 - 1992). He was appointed as Scientist (1992 - 1998) and is continuing as Scientist (Senior Scale), Quality Control and Assurance Unit, Immunology Lab., FMD Vaccine Unit, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Hebbal, Bangalore.

Dr.Ganesh is actively involved in graduate and postgraduate teaching since 1987. He has published eight research papers, written three chapters in reference books, applied for a Patent, and a submission to Gene Bank.
